[A Muslim Cartoonist on "Draw Muhammad Day"]
~ I love this article. Well worth a read.

Meanwhile, a bit of Harvest Moon...

Ahtze: You gonna hate this. Good luck finding the npc as it is not shown on the map at all. :)

Naranja_Limones: You damn kids. Why, back in MY day we didn't even HAVE a map. We had to run around town for most of the DAY trying to find one person to give them some odd weed from the top of the dang MOUNTAIN, for MINIMUM LP.
AND WE LIKED IT.

Sadly true.

Notttt quite sure what to make of Grand Bazaar. On one hand, the graphics look a little improved from Sunshine Islands, but on the other -- no mines (might be a plus, I actually hate that thing), no NPC icons on the map, time doesn't stop indoors, you can accidentally step on your crops and reduce their quality, and instead of just directly shipping goods, you have to wait 'til the weekend and sell your crap at a shop that needs upgrading. On the plus side, they brought back the bath/restroom to replenish stamina, you start out with a furnished house (kitchen, fireplace, bathroom, toilet), and the crop system is easier (no weather system).

Ironically, people who've played GB say it's way more relaxed than SI despite the lack of time freeze. 24 RL minutes equals to one game day. Probably not that hard to believe, considering SI makes you work for every little upgrade and every single building that really should have already been there from the get-go. SI has an insane amount of things to work for, and too little time to do it. There's also no overall plot for GB, so everything moves at your own pace -- a big plus, but I like having an end-goal.

Release date has been moved to August 17.
